Kirikou- The Selfless Voyager

Personal Illustration for Portfolio, made with love to immortalize my late friend and beloved pet Kirikou.
I wanted to push my own boundaries as an Illustrator and Digital artist to achieve a faithful piece in honor of my dearest friend, mainly focusing on depicting his very distinct look as he was gentle and noble yet very Stoic, full of resolution and love for life.
All the little details in the character try to represent some of his mementos and struggles as he fought very hard fights in life, yet he lived proud and happy enjoying every minute of it.
I'll miss you forever, see you in the great beyond buddy!
